TIGER Woods has congratulated niece Cheyenne Woods who claimed her first major tour win here on the Gold Coast.
“Way to go Cheyenne Woods!” the world No. 1 tweeted. “A great win and accomplishment. I’m so proud of you.”
She finished the final round of the Ladies Masters at Royal Pines with a two-shot victory ahead of Aussie hope Minjee Lee.

Fox Sports reports, Woods finished the tournament on 16-under following a four-under final round yesterday and takes home a $57,000 winners’ cheque.
“I felt really calm throughout the whole round, I didn’t panic even though Minjee gave me a run for my money, she was great today,” Woods said.
“It is my first major tour win, so I am really excited. It feels great to know I am capable of playing four solid rounds,” she added.
“I can’t wait to talk to my family.”
Eight-time champion Karrie Webb was prevented from claiming a record ninth Ladies Masters title after being disqualified following the second round.
