Child inside as two men carry out violent home invasion

Two men are on the run after terrorising residents inside a house on Brisbane’s southside.

Just after 8pm on Friday the men forced their way into the Stretton home, armed with a knife and wooden slat, and demanded money.

The residents, who included a man, two women and a child, gave in to the demand, handing over property, before the duo ran off.

The victims were not physically injured during the robbery.

The men are described as both being Caucasian in appearance, one aged in his late forties with a slim build and the other aged in his early forties with a medium build.
