Child punches man who allegedly indecently assaulted him

A YOUNG boy has punched a man who allegedly indecently assaulted him outside a sporting field in Kellyville.

About 8.20pm last night, the 14-year-old boy was approached by a man outside a field on Memorial Avenue.

Police say the man allegedly indecently assaulted the boy, before the youngster fought back by punching him.

The boy then ran home where he reported the incident to his mother, who contacted police.

Detectives are now hunting a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He has been described as aged in his early 20s, 185cm tall, medium build, and wearing a black hooded jumper. The man has also been described to have a husky voice.
