ONE child has been killed and another seriously injured after being run over by a teenage driver in Brisbane.
The tragedy unfolded outside a home on Thorneside Drive at Thorneside, in the city’s east, on Saturday afternoon.
It’s understood a 16-year-old boy on his L’plates struck the two small children while reversing in a driveway.

Sadly, one of the children, reported to be a four-year-old boy, was critically injured and died at the scene.
The other child, also believed to be a young boy, was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
It’s understood he was transported in a stable condition with leg injuries.
The 16-year-old boy driving the car was also taken to hospital, suffering from shock and emotional distress.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy and will prepare a report for the Coroner.
