A young girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a truck in north Queensland.
Emergency services raced to Macrossan Street in Port Douglas just after 11.15am, following reports a child had been struck by a vehicle.
The youngster was treated at the scene for a head injury before being transported to Cairns Hospital in a serious condition.
