Child, teen and woman injured in hinterland quad bike crash

A child, a teenager and a woman have been hospitalised following a horror quad bike incident in the Hinterland last night.

Emergency services were called to a home in Tamborine around 6.40 pm, following reports that a quad bike crashed.

Paramedics, including critical care, assessed three people at the scene, including a child, a teenager and a woman.


The little boy suffered minor head injuries and spinal precautions.

The teenage girl was hospitalised with hip and abdominal injuries and spinal precautions.

And a woman in her 30s suffered chest, back and shoulder injuries and spinal precautions.

All three are in stable conditions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
