Child, two women hospitalised after two car crash on the Gold Coast

Three people, including a child, have been hospitalised following a nasty crash on the northern Gold Coast last night.

Emergency services were called to Heathwood Drive in Upper Coomera around 7.45 pm following reports that two cars had collided.

They assessed three people at the scene, including a child, before taking them all to hospital for further treatment.

A male child suffered a minor head injury, a woman in her 30s suffered sternum pain and other minor injuries and another woman in her 30s suffered lower leg injuries.

All three were taken to the Gold Coast hospital in stable conditions.
