Children among 100 killed in Baghdad suicide bombing

More than 100 people have been killed and 180 wounded in a suicide bombing in central Baghdad.

The horror explosion erupted outside a busy shopping centre in the Karrada district on Sunday.

Among those killed were women, policemen and children, local media report.

ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the bombing, the latest in a string of horrifying terror related attacks.

Over the weekend 22 people were gunned down by terrorists who stormed a packed Bangladesh cafe armed with guns, explosives and knives.

Last week 44 people were killed and dozens injured when three suicide bombers descended at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport.
