Children among four hospitalised after M1 smash

Lengthy delays are currently being experienced southbound on the Pacific Motorway following a multi-vehicle crash.

The accident happened at Robina, near Exit 82, around 12.30pm.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed four people, including two children, were treated at the scene by paramedics.

They have since been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Motorists are being urged to allow for extra travel time in the area.
