Children among seven injured in Gold Coast bus crash
SEVEN people, including five children, have been taken to hospital following a bus crash on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood the bus smashed into a number of parked cars on Brooke Avenue in Southport about 1pm.
Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene were paramedics assessed nine people.

Queensland Ambulance said seven patients were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Among those taken to hospital were a teenage girl, three young children and a female infant.
A woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s were also transported with minor injuries.

Queensland Ambulance said all seven patients were in a stable condition.
Another two people, a teenage boy and a man aged in his 20s were assessed at the scene but not treated.
There are reports the driver of the bus passed out behind the wheel after suffering a medical condition.
