Children hospitalised after crash near entrance to Gold Coast theme park

FOUR people including two children and a baby have been taken to hospital following a traffic crash outside a Gold Coast theme park.

The accident happened near the entrance to Movieworld at Oxenford around 2.50pm on Thursday.

A Queensland Ambulance Spokesperson told myGC a vehicle ploughed into a pole on Movieworld Access Road.


It’s understood paramedics were travelling through the area at the time of the crash and drove upon the scene.

One adult, two children, and an infant were assessed by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.

All four patients were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
