Climate change protest closes down busy bridge at peak hour in Brisbane
Commuters heading into Brisbane this morning are being warned of lengthy delays, after a lone climate protester closed a busy bridge.
The protester has built a large tee-pee type structure in the middle of Victoria Bridge, and has suspended herself from the top of it.
She’s displaying a black umbrella with the words ‘climate denial is child abuse’ painted on it.
Queensland Police have shut down the bridge to traffic and pedestrians while they try to get the protester down safely.
