GOLD Coast mining magnate Clive Palmer is expected to face a Brisbane Court on Monday after earlier skipping an appearance due to ill health.
He is being sued by former Palmer Coolum Resort General Manager Bill Schoch. He alleges that Mr Palmer and two of his companies owe him $4.6 million in damages and unpaid wages.
Mr Schoch worked for Mr Palmer on the Sunshine Coast from 2011 and until his job was terminated in December 2013.

Last week the ABC reported that Mr Schoch told the court that Mr Palmer had offered him an oral contract over the phone that he would be paid at $1 million a year for five years.
Instead, he initially received $100,000, later rising to $150,000 a year.
Mr Palmer’s appearance was adjourned to Monday.
