Gold Coast Businessman, Clive Palmer, is planning to restore his political party and contest every seat at the next federal election.
Mr Palmer confirmed the details this morning and said it’s time to reset the agenda in Australian politics.
“Since I left Parliament I have experienced the frustration and helplessness that all Australians experience with the major political parties,” he said in a statement.

“It’s time for Australia to reset its agenda for economic growth and prosperity.”
He did not say whether he would attempt to re-enter parliament.
The Palmer United Party was voluntarily deregistered by the Australian Electoral Commission in May 2017, a year after Mr Palmer announced his intention to retire from politics.
