Clive Palmer defends luxury cruise

UPDATE 3:12PM | Clive Palmer has defended his decision to jump on a luxury cruise ship in the Mediterranean, just a month after turning up to the Federal Court with a sick bag and a pillow.

Clive posted his response on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

The Daily Telegraph reports the Gold Coast mining magnate is enjoying a pricey Mediterranean cruise with his family.

He’d been facing the Federal Court to answer questions about the collapse of Queensland Nickel and was pressed to reveal the whereabouts of former QNI Director Clive Mensink.

Clive was spotted boarding a luxury­ cruise ship in Spain with his wife Anna and daughter Emily on Friday according to the Daily Telegraph.

He was tracked to the Port of Barcelona, where Mensink’s son joined other family members on the vessel.

The Daily Telegraph said tickets are understood to cost about $10,000 each.

Given that it cost 10k to get his jet off the ground during his Palmer United campaign who gives a s*** aboit a 10k per ticket cruise with a net income like his. He still owns companies makes sound investments and has a right to have a family life and a holiday regardless of where he was last week.
