Close to $1 million of cannabis seized from Gold Coast property

Close to $1 million worth of cannabis has been found during a raid at a Yatala property.

Logan police searched the Ferguson Street address back on July 1 and allegedly uncovered 369 cannabis plants growing in a shed and in the bush of the property.

The Queensland Police Service said the drugs have an estimated street value of close to $920,000.

A 59-year-old Yatala man has been charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing things used in connection of a drug offence.

He is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 16.
