A man has been charged with a string of offences after police uncovered a huge stash of drugs and cash at a home on the Gold Coast today.
Officers from the Gold Coast Major and Organised Crime Squad raided the home in Currumbin Waters this morning, where they seized Cocaine, MDMA, Steroids, Alprazolam, a cash counting machine, heat sealing equipment, phones and counterfeit currency.
More than $72,000 in cash was also found during a search of the property.

A 34-year-old Currumbin Waters man has been charged with trafficking in dangerous drugs, four counts of possessing a dangerous drug and producing dangerous drugs.
He has also been slapped with one count of possession of property suspected of being used in the commission of a crime, possession of utensils and possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
The man is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on December 3.
South East Region MOCS Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Galpin said the charges reflect police’s ongoing commitment to disrupting criminal activity in the area.
“The QPS is committed to working with the community to enhance community safety, we are constantly looking for opportunities to disrupt criminal behaviour and dismantle criminal syndicates at the earliest opportunity,” Detective Senior Sergeant Ian Galpin said.
