Coles issue urgent recall on Easter Eggs

COLES have issued an urgent recall of their 204g 12-pack carton of Hollow Milk Chocolate Easter Eggs after a young boy suffered an allergic reaction in New South Wales. 

Easter EggsThe Supermarket giant issued the recall on Thursday morning, confirming the brand – labelled as “Peanut Free” – actually contained tree nuts.

“The product is being recalled due to the presence of an undeclared allergen – tree nuts … any consumer who has a tree nut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the company said in a statement.
