A comedian who dedicated her life to trying to make life easier for people with disabilities, like herself, has died aged 32.
Stella Young’s family released a statement confirming the news that she died unexpectedly, but with no pain, on the weekend according to news.com.au.
“With great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Stella Young, our much loved and irreplaceable daughter and sister. Stella passed away on Saturday evening, unexpectedly, but in no pain,” the statement said.

Ms Young was often called on to comment on disability issues and was also editor of ABC’s Ramp Up website.
She will have a private funeral, followed by a public event in Melbourne.
Her family is asking that we consider making donations in support of Domestic Violence Victoria, another cause she was passionate about.
