Comm Bank hit by another major service outage

Commonwealth Bank is dealing with its second major outage in a week with customers unable to access a range of the bank’s services.

Customers began reporting issues accessing the bank’s mobile app and online bank early on Wednesday afternoon.

There are also reports of issues with the bank’s merchant terminals.

That has left customers unable to pay for good in stores that use Commonwealth terminals.

The bank has apologised for the inconvenience and says it is working to fix the issue.

It comes after several banks including Commonwealth were taken offline last week after an issue with a service provider.
