Communications Minister knew about NBN raids

It’s been revealed, the Communications Minister was aware raids were set to be carried out in relation to the National Broadband Network.

Mitch Fifield knew the company had referred alleged document leaks to the Australian Federal Police, but he insists, he did not pass the information on to PM Malcolm Turnbull (pictured).

The admission comes after Labor offices in Melbourne were searched on Thursday.

It’s claimed an NBN Co employee snapped 32 photographs of the secret documents on their phone, under instruction from police.

But the pictures have since been deleted.
