Concerns for missing Gold Coast teen with serious leg wound

Police are appealing for help to find a 15-year-old girl who has been missing on the Gold Coast for five days.

The teen was last seen at a home in Southport on April 10, but police say the girl contacted a relative on the phone two days ago.

“Concerns are held for her welfare as she was receiving treatment for injuries, including a leg wound, following a recent accident and requires medication and further treatment,” Qld Police said.

The missing teen is known to frequent the Brisbane CBD area as well as Southport and Surfers Paradise.

She is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 165cm tall with brown eyes and brown hair.

The girl, or anyone with information regarding her current whereabouts, is asked to contact police.
