Concerns for missing Southport man last seen over a week ago

POLICE are appealing for help to locate a 43-year-old man missing from Southport.

Nizar Schroeder was last seen at a home on Minnie Street around 8.30am on Thursday, May 3.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as the disappearance is out of character.


Nizar is described as having an olive complexion, 189cm tall, big build with a tribal band tattoo on his upper right arm.

He may be travelling in a 1997 white Honda Civic with Queensland registration “896 SUL”

Anyone who may have information in relation to Nizar’s whereabouts is urged to contact police.
