Concerns for teen boy missing from Tweed Heads area

Police are appealing for help to find a teenage boy missing from the Tweed Heads area.

Nathaniel Bower was last seen at a skate park on Heffron Street in Tweed Heads South, about 2pm on Friday afternoon.

Police said that when he didn’t return home as expected, he was reported missing to officers who launched an investigation to find him.

Concerns are being held for the 13-year-old’s welfare due to his age and because he suffers from a number of medical conditions.

Nathaniel is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 150cm and 155cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing blue and red ‘Fila’ tracksuit pants, white ‘Nike’ shirt and a blue ‘Nike’ cap.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
