Missing 11yo girl found safe and well

UPDATE @ 3:00PM | An 11-year-old girl missing from Ormeau since the weekend has been found safe and well.

The girl, and an 11-year-old boy were last seen on Saturday.

The boy was located on Wednesday while the girl was found on Friday.


Police have thanked the public for their assistance.

EARLIER @ 11:00AM | Police have renewed their public appeal to help locate an 11-year-old girl who has been missing from Ormeau for six days.

The girl was last seen at a Caltex service station on Peachey Road around 8.30pm on Saturday night, following a day trip to Cedar Creek falls.

She had initially been reported missing along with an 11-year-old boy, but Queensland Police confirmed on Friday that the boy had been found safe and well.

Police are still very concerned about the young girl due to her age.

The girl is believed to frequent locations including Main Beach, Southport and Surfers Paradise.

Anyone who has seen the girl or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact police.
