Concerns for young girl missing from Nerang

UPDATE @ February 19 by Monique StClair | Police have found an 11-year-old Nerang girl after she went missing from her home yesterday morning.

Police report that she’s been found ‘safe and well’.

EARLIER @ February 18 by Shanee Dobeson | Police are appealing for help to find an 11-year-old girl missing from Nerang.

The child was last seen by family at her Nerang home around 8am this morning.

“When she failed to arrive at school her family were contacted,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

Initial investigations suggest the young girl may be in the company of other youths.

It’s understood the disappearance is out of character, with concerns being held for the young girl’s safety and wellbeing.

Anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
