Police say they hold concerns for their safety and well-being as Kirsty has not been in contact with family since, which they say is extremely out of character.

Kirsty is described as Caucasian, approximately 155cms tall with a slim build and dark brown hair.

Anyone who may have seen Kirsty McDonald or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts, or that of her son, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
