Concerns held for missing father and son from Qld

UPDATE @ June 18, 2.15pm: Queensland Police are again desperately appealing for public assistance to help locate a father and son who have been missing for over a week.

The pair were last seen in the Mount Gravatt Lookout area around 4.30pm on Friday June 9, however they have not made contact with family since.

According to police, they were sighted in Lismore on June 13 although it’s unknown if they remain in the Northern NSW area or have returned to Brisbane.

They are believed to be travelling and sleeping in the man’s white 2011 ford Transit van with Queensland registration 065RTG.

The 56-year-old man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 163 centimetres tall, slim build and grey hair.

The 8-year-old boy is described as Caucasian in appearance, 100 centimetres tall, heavy build and brown hair.

Any members of the public who may have information in relation to the whereabouts of the man and boy are being urged to contact police.

EARLIER @ June 15, 8.45am: Police are desperately appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing father and son from Queensland.

The pair were last seen in the Mount Gravatt Lookout area around 4.30pm on Friday June 9 in a white Ford transit van.

Police say family last spoke with the man on June 10, however he and the boy have not been seen or heard from since.

Concerns are now being held for their welfare due to the absence of contact being out of character.

The 56-year-old man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 163 cm tall, slim build and grey hair.

The 8-year-old boy is described Caucasian in appearance, 100 cm tall, heavy build and brown hair.

Information suggests that the pair may have travelled to Lismore on June 13.

Any members of the public who may have information in relation to the whereabouts of the man and boy are being urged to contact police.
