Concerns held for missing NSW woman last seen in Qld

UPDATE: Police are desperately appealing for public assistance to help locate Jacinta Beattie, missing from NSW and who is believed to currently be in the Cairns area.

Police say Jacinta, and a male companion, were last sighted in Cairns on August 1.

The 34-year-old left Fairfield, NSW in June and concerns are held for her safety and wellbeing as she has stopped contacting family.

Jacinta is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cms tall with a proportionate build and blonde / reddish hair.

It is believed she is travelling with a 38-year-old man who is described as having a shaved head, approximately 178cms tall with a proportionate build and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Jacinta or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.

EARLIER: Queensland and New South Wales police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Cairns since July 26.

Jacinta Beattie, from Fairfield in New South Wales was last seen travelling in the Cairns area last month.

Concerns are being held for the 34-year-old’s safety and well-being as she has not been in contact with family which is out of character.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cms tall with an average build and blonde hair.
