Concerns held for mother and two young children who may be in Qld

POLICE are appealing for help from the public to locate a missing woman and her two young children, who may be travelling from NSW to Qld.

Mia Gillon and her two children, including a newborn baby boy, were last seen at a property in Armidale on Sunday 12 November.

Police say there are concerns for their welfare.

“Police have been following several lines of inquiry and have received information that Ms Gillon may still be in the Glenn Innes/Inverell area or may be travelling to Toowoomba, Queensland with the children,” NSW police said in a statement.

Ms Gillon, 27, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm – 170cm tall, of a slim build with shoulder length dark hair.

The boy is described as being four years old, of Caucasian appearance, and with brown hair.

The second child is a newborn boy.

Police are urging anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Ms Gillon to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 000 333.
