Constable dismissed from the Qld Police Service
A Constable from Road Policing Command has been dismissed from the Queensland Police Service.
Police confirmed the news in a statement on Monday morning, stating the decision was made following the finalisation of an internal investigation.
The 32-year-old officer was convicted in the Roma District Court on November 24, 2016 on one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm.
The court sentenced the officer to two years imprisonment, wholly suspended.
