It might seem like we say it every year, but this time Cooly Rocks On really will be bigger and better than ever!
The annual nostalgia festival is expanding from not only celebrating everything cool about the 50s and 60s, but also the defining elements of the 70s.
So, dust off your flares, wedges and afro combs and rev up the Holden Monaro because they can all be part of memory lane come June 6-10.

“The extension in the 70s only adds to our audience’s experience,” event general manager Matt Cousins said in a statement.
“What we are assembling will certainly make us a not-to-be missed festival,” Mr Cousins added.
The cars displayed at this year’s event can be manufactured up to 1978 which now incorporates the heady days of the ultimate muscle car era; the Holden Monaro, the XY GT Falcon, the XU1 Torana and the Trans Am.
For the first time ever, there will be a Touring Car Masters display featuring race cars from the 60s and 70s.
Adding to the must-see program is the world first release of never before seen restoration and build-ups of custom cars and hot rods, the ultimate big boy’s toys for the car enthusiast.
The completely FREE event will take over Coolangatta-Tweed with live music, dance displays, parades and markets flowing through local venues, parks and streets.
