Cooly Rocks On with record crowds
MORE than 120,000 people have packed the streets of Coolangatta for the annual retro Cooly Rocks On festival.
The five day extravaganza was a celebration of cars and all things from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
In a festival first, more than 700 cars and bikes worth over $20 million were displayed at the event, underpinning the classic culture of the decades gone.
Last year, the festival drew crowds of 110,000 people and injected more than $6 million into the local economy.
