Cops bust suspected meth dealer during random traffic stop

A SUSPECTED meth dealer has been arrested and charged on the NSW Mid North Coast after police allegedly found a large stash of the dangerous drug inside his car during a random traffic stop this morning.

Police say they intercepted the 46-year-old man’s car on Ocean Drive at Laurieton shortly before 4am on Saturday.

During a search of the vehicle, officer’s allegedly located quantities of ‘ICE’, cannabis and other amphetamines.

The 46-year-old driver was arrested and conveyed to Port Macquarie Police Station where he was charged with drug supply and three counts of drug possession.

He was refused bail to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court tomorrow.
