A man has been arrested after police allegedly found more than one million dollars worth of methamphetamine in his car during a traffic stop.
Police said officers pulled over a Mitsubishi Outlander on Thomas Street in Haymarket around 4.30pm yesterday after spotting the driver talking on the mobile phone.
Police spoke to the 26-year-old male driver and developed cause to search the vehicle.
During the search, police allege they located over 3kg of methamphetamine, with an estimated potential street value of $1.2 million.
