Cops find cannabis crops growing on Sydney’s northern beaches
Police have arrested and charged a man after finding several cannabis crops growing on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Officers say they first found multiple hydroponic cannabis crops during a raid at an address on Pitt Road at North Curl Curl on Tuesday morning.
As a result of the discovery, police executed another search warrant, this time at a home on Moonarie Place at Cromer where they arrested a 51-year-old man.
While inside the house, police allegedly uncovered further hydroponic cannabis crops.
The 51-year-old man was taken to Manly Police Station and charged with cultivate prohibited plant – commercial quantity; cultivate prohibited plant – large commercial quantity and two counts of supply prohibited drug – indictable quantity.
He was refused bail and due to face Manly Local Court yesterday.
