POLICE are hunting a cold-blooded killer in Sydney after a man was shot dead outside a house in the city’s west overnight.
Emergency services swooped on Brisbane Street in St Marys around 7.20pm after receiving reports of shots fired.
Police arrived on the scene to find a 29-year-old man outside a house with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He had been shot multiple times, police said.

Paramedics worked frantically to try and stabilise the man and keep him alive at the scene. Sadly, he died before he could be transported to hospital.
Neighbours have told investigators they heard a vehicle speed away from the scene shortly after hearing a volley of gunshots.
According to 9News, this is the second shooting to occur at the Brisbane Street home.
Strike Force Estop has been established to investigate the execution-style killing.
Police have confirmed they believe the shooting was targeted, with investigators probing possible links to outlaw motorcycle gang activity.
