Cops seize guns, 1kg of cannabis in raid on Canberra home

A man has been charged after police allegedly found two rifles and a kilogram of cannabis during a raid on his house in Canberra.

Police executed a search warrant at the house in Chisholm yesterday afternoon.

During a search of the property, officers allegedly located two prohibited firearms and approximately one kilogram of cannabis.



The drugs were allegedly pre-packaged in individual zip-lock bags and glass jars.

A 36-year-old Chisholm man will now be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
