A Coroner has found that New South Wales man Geoff Hunt shot his wife dead outside their family farmhouse, before shooting his three children as they slept in their beds.
Hunt, 44, then shot himself dead with his body being found in a nearby dam.
Kim Hunt, 41, and her three children aged 10, 8 and 6, were all found dead in their Lockhart home in September 2014.

The motivation behind the horror murder-suicide is believed to have been as a result of depression.
At the inquest, a forensic psychologist from the NSW Police said she thought Geoff Hunt’s main intention was suicide, but he believed his wife and children were dependent on him and so in killing them he was “sparing them future pain”.
The inquest found that Hunt did not intend to inflict pain on his wife and three children as he used a single shot.
A handwritten note that read “I’m sorry, it’s all my fault, totally mine” was found inside the home, written by Geoff.
