Council gives green light for night racing at Gold Coast Turf Club
Night racing at the Gold Coast turf club is one step closer following a decision at City Council on Tuesday.
Council endorsed the turf club installing its own lights around its Bundall property, which will enable night racing to occur.
“The approval ensures the amenity of other properties in the area is preserved,” council said in a statement.
“The final decision now rests with the turf club if it wants to enter the night racing market.”
