A COUPLE aged in their 30s have been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash on NSW mid-north coast this morning.
It’s understood the couple’s white sedan was travelling south along the Pacific Highway at Nabiac about 8am when it left the road and slammed into a tree.
The male driver suffered serious internal injuries, while his female passenger was left with fractures to her legs and arms.

Both were airlifted to John Hunter Hospital and are said to be in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established and examined by forensic crash investigators.
