Couple terrorised, bashed and robbed at gunpoint in their home

A MAN and a woman have been bashed and robbed at gunpoint at their home in Brisbane.

Police said two men attended the couple’s Perkins Street home at Calamvale about 7.45pm last night to buy a laptop and mobile phone.

Once inside, it’s alleged the two men bashed a 27-year-old man while a 28-year-old woman locked herself inside an upstairs bathroom.


Police said one of the men then ran upstairs, kicked down the bathroom door and threatened the woman with a gun.

The armed pair then allegedly ransacked the property and tried stealing a number of items before fleeing prior to police arriving.

The man remain on the run and investigations into the violent robbery are continuing.
