North Queensland and Melbourne have touched down in Sydney ahead of Sunday’s NRL Grand Final.
Both teams are expected to draw huge crowds this afternoon when the host a fans day at the iconic Luna Park.
Storm skipper, Cameron Smith, was awarded the Dally M medal for player of the year last night but with the biggest game of the year approaching celebrations were restrained.

Smith said he was shocked to earn the coveted award at the ripe old age of 34.
“Considering I’m at the back end of my career now rather than at the beginning … the opportunity to win another Dally M is pretty special,” he said.
While he was excited about the medal he’s now focused on winning the Grand Final.
Adding to their motivation will be the departure of the Storm’s superstar halfback, Cooper Cronk, who is playing his last season for Melbourne before moving to Sydney to live with his fiancee.
The Cowboys preparations are well underway with the squad training this morning.
Their route to the finals has garnered huge support and a strong contingent of fans is expected at ANZ Stadium on Sunday night.
