A small silver hatchback was sent flying into the side of a house at Labrador after it was reportedly T-boned where Robert Street meets Turpin Road around 10.30am.

Firefighters and paramedics worked for close to an hour to stabilise and free a woman trapped in the wreckage who was said to be unconscious when they arrived.

Two other women also suffered minor injuries.

There were unconfirmed reports a child may have been thrown from the vehicle, but these have since been dismissed after it was discovered the tot was dropped at daycare just minutes prior to the collision.

Multiple emergency services responded, including four ambulances, and motorists were advised to stay clear of the area.

There’s no further information available at this time.
