Fire fighting crews are still waiting to assess the damage of a fire in Currumbin which broke out over the weekend.
It broke out in an area of land near Camp Eden Road yesterday morning, though crews have since been able to get the upper hand.
The blaze initially prompted a bushfire warning, though that has since been downgraded.

It’s not yet clear exactly how much damage has been done,though it’s understood no properties were affected.
Crews will continue to monitor the situation today, with fears strong winds could reignite flames and pose a fresh threat.
