UPDATE @ 12.30PM | Seven crews are on scene battling a wildfire in Main Beach this afternoon.
A small grass fire broke out in bush land near Seaworld around 8.30am.
Four crews were initially called to the scene, though there are now seven crews on scene trying to get the blaze under control.

Another four are believed to be on their way.
The Mudgeeraba Rural Fire Brigade has been called in to help as well, saying the hot conditions aren’t helping conditions.
It’s understood the blaze still isn’t posing too much of a threat, though residents in the area are being told to close windows and doors.
EARLIER @ 9.15AM | FIREFIGHTERS have rushed to Main Beach this morning after a grass fire broke out near The Spit.
It was first reported near Seaworld Drive, Main Beach around 8.30am.
Four crews are on scene working to extinguish the blaze, while four others are on the way.
“Crews are working to contain the fire, which is posing no threat to property at this time,” QFES said in a statement.
“Nearby areas may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the day. If affected, residents are advised to close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medication close by.
“Motorists are advised to drive with caution and to conditions.”
