Crews working to repair burst water main on Gold Coast Highway
There could be serious delays for those travelling south on the Gold Coast Highway this morning, with a lane having to be shut.
Council has closed off a southbound lane through Burleigh Heads, due to a busted water main.
It happened at the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and Cotton Street overnight.
A Council spokesperson says it could take crews most of this morning to repair.
Motorists are being urged to use alternate routes, or be prepared for delays.
