A crime scene has been established after a teenage boy was stabbed in Sydney’s west overnight.
Police said that just after 6.30pm, a group of six boys were standing on a street in Wetherill Park, talking to four female girls, when another group of males walked past.
It’s alleged the group of six boys began walking away when the other group of males yelled and ran after them.

An altercation then broke out, with a 15-year-old boy stabbed.
A bystander rushed to the boy’s aid and drove him to Fairfield Hospital before he was later transferred to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established at the location and investigations into the stabbing are underway.
