A FATHER has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after both he and his eight-year-old son fell from a balcony on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The pair is believed to have fallen between three and four metres from a balcony at a home on Pittwater Road at Church Point on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the house about 4pm and arrived to find a 41-year-old man unconscious and his young son injured.

A team of paramedics worked on the father and his son at the scene before transporting them to hospital for treatment.
In a statement, a NSW Police spokesperson said the father was airlifted to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
His eight-year-old son was spared serious injury in the fall and was taken by ambulance to the same hospital in a stable condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately known.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating and have established a crime scene at the Church Point home.
