Crime scene established after man perishes in NSW house fire

A man has sadly died in a house fire near Parkes this morning.

Around 7.45am, emergency services were called to a home on Long Street in Trundle after reports of a raging fire.

After the blaze was extinguished by the Rural Fire Service NSW, the body of a man, who is yet to be identified, was found inside.

A crime scene has since been established at the home with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire, including whether or not it is suspicious.
